A man has been sentenced to prison for threatening to kill a woman if she didn’t drive him to Pittsburgh. Matthew Guyer entered a guilty plea in Blair County Court and was sentenced to a prison term of six to 12 years for kidnapping and terroristic threats. The incident happened in June,when Guyer approached a woman in the Plank Road Commons parking lot near Walmart asked for a ride to 17th Street. Once in the car, though, he said he had a gun and insisted that she head for Pittsburgh. He released the woman at a convenience store at New Kensington. Police say she was unharmed but visibly shaken.
Man Sentenced for Kidnapping
