The Pennsylvania Department of Health reported an increase of 5,338 new coronavirus cases in the state Friday, bringing the statewide total to 794,172. The death toll continues to spike with 193 more coronavirus-related deaths. Two-hundred and ninety new cases and 16 more deaths were reported in our area today. Blair County reported 60 new cases and four additional deaths.
