International Space Station To Be Visible This Week In PA

The International Space Station is expected to offer a prime naked-eye viewing opportunity as it passes over central Pennsylvania 3 times this week. The orbiting outpose is going to be visible this evening at 6:52… looking like a bit more than the width of a fist at the end of an outstretched arm above the southwestern horizon. Then, over the next 3 minutes it will move toward the south, rising to a maximum height of 70 degrees before disappearing. The ISS will appear again tomorrow at 6:04PM, about 11 degrees above south-southwest. It’s third appearance this week will be on Thursday.
