Wolf Relaxes Restrictions (Sort Of…)

So far, it has not changed… but that too is of course, subject to change based on past experience. Governor Tom Wolf and Secretary of Health Dr. Rachel Levine announced that the COVID-19 limited-time mitigation orders will expire this morning at 8:01AM as planned. Mitigation efforts will revert to the earlier orders originally released on November 23rd. Now, the governor has granted restaurants the opportunity to try to save what is left of their business, by permitting in-person indoor dining at 25%… 50% for self-certified restaurants. On-site alcohol sales are permitted through 11pm. No alcoholic beverages are allowed after midnight. Indoor gatherings are permitted, but there is a long list of confusing maximum occupancy rates. After the governor got slapped down previously on religious restrictions, churches, synagogues, temples, mosques, and other places of congregate worship are excluded. Coming to Pennsylvania from out of state? You will still need to show a egative result from a COVID-19 test. The governor says telework operations should continue where possible.
