HOMELESS ALTOONA MAN ATTACKS FAMILY

An Altoona man was arrested after an incident that happened back on January 30 involving his relatives. 20 year old Nicolas Odellick is now facing multiple counts of terroristic threats and harassment after the outburst that police say took place at an Altoona home. The victim told police the Odellick is homeless because he has violent tendencies toward his relatives. Early on the morning of January 30th, the victim told police that Odellick asked if he could warm up in her house, because he had nowhere else to go. Odellick and an unidentifed woman came in and laid down for about three hours before the victim told them they had to leave so she could attend a doctor’s appointment. That’s when Odellick… according to the victim… became enraged and started destroying things and kicking hols in walls and doors… threatening to kill the entire family with an assault rifle. Odellick was jailed, and then later released on an unsecured bail of $20,000. A preliminary hearing is scheduled for Feb. 24th.
