PA Booster Shot Shortage

Pennsylvania is facing a temporary shortage of booster shots of the Moderna vaccine because providers inadvertently used them as first doses, setting back the state’s already stumbling vaccine rollout. The error could mean more than 100,000 people will need appointments rescheduled, according to state health officials on Wednesday. About 30,000 to 60,000 appointments for the COVID-19 booster shot will need to be pushed back by one or two weeks
