The WASHINGTON AVENUE STORM SEWER REPLACEMENT project gets underway beginning today in Altoona, and it will mean traffic will be reduced to one lane starting today, from 19th Avenue to 25th Avenue between the hours of 7am and 3pm. The project, when finished, will alleviate surface water along the
corridor and is expected to last between six and eight weeks.
