COUPLE ARRESTED FOR WALMART THEFT

A couple has been arrested and now face charges for failing to pay for their entire grocery bill at Walmart. 25 year old Bradley Frye and 25 year old Jeanna Thompson were identified through surveillance video provided by Walmart in Duncansville, after the two… back in January… went through a self checkout aisle there, and scanned items totalling $40, but only put a $20 in the checkout machine before leaving with the items. Police say the video proves that Thompson also failed to scan a package of Oreo cookies, which cost about $4, but took them anyway. The video and pictures were posted online, where comments by others helped police identify the two. Frye now is facing three felonies, including retail theft, conspiracy to commit retail theft and receiving stolen property. The charges were deemed to be felonies because of prior convictions. Thompson was charged with felony conspiracy to commit theft and misdemeanor theft-related crimes. For now, both of them remain free on unsecured bail of $15,000 each.
