DUNCANSVILLE MAN ARRESTED IN CONNECTION WITH ARSON AT BLUE KNOB AUTO

He is now facing arson charges… 43 year old Nathan Hall of Duncansville, is behind bars today… accused of setting fire to Blue Knob Auto Service Center on Monday after crashing his vehicle into the business. Hall was taken into custodyby Pennslvania State Police, and tehn transferred into the custody of Allegheny Township police, after which he as arraigned and then jailed. Hall’s employment at Blue Knob Auto had been recently terminated. Police now say around 11:20PM on Monday, Hall crashed his vehicle through one of the service center’s garage bay doors, then dumped barrels of oil on the shop floor and set the place on fire. He was identified through surveillance video. Hall is believed to have acted alone. He is now facing felony charges including arson, burglary, criminal trespass, criminal mischief, risking catastrophe and reckless burning of an uninhabited structure. Hall is now in the Blair County Prison, where he is being held on $100,000 cash bail.
