WOLF LIFTS SOME RESTRICTIONS… BUT WITH MORE THAN A FEW CATCHES

Bowing to increasing pressure from just about every angle, Governor Tom Wolf on Monday, announced the lifting of some more of the drastic restrictions on restaurants and other businesses. The governor also increased gathering limits. Effective April 4, restaurants across the sate may resume bar service… meaning you will be able to once again buy a drink at a bar without having to also purchase food. The curfew for removing alcoholic drinks from tables will be lifted; and indoor dining capacity will be raised to 75 percent for some establishments that meet the governor’s requirements. Other restaurants that do not, will be allowed by the governor to raise capacity to 50 percent. Also effective April 4th… increased capacity limits for personal services facilities, gyms and entertainment facilities such as casinos, theatres, malls to 75 percent occupancy. Limits on outdoor events are also raised… slightly… and again, subject to a long and detailed list of qualifications.
