Pennsylvania health officials on Wednesday, announced an accelerated timeline to make the COVID-19 vaccine available to all adults. Now, all adults in Pennsylvania will be eligible for the COVID-19 vaccine as of April 19th. Effective immediately, targeted groups are also now eligible to schedule appointments, including law enforcement, firefighters, grocery store workers, and food and agriculture workers. The entire Phase 1B group will be eligible April 5, and Phase 1C on April 12. The changes do not affect Philadelphia, which operates independently of the state.
