On Friday, drug related charges were filed against a state parolee after Altoona Police found illegal substances… including crack… in a house in Altoona where 45 year old Mark Ivory was living. According to authorities, Ivory was not listed as being under Blair County supervision at the time. A woman… Sharon McCall, and a child were also at the house when agents showed up to search it for possible probation or parole violations. They were met by the smell of burned marijuana. Inside a kitchen cupboard, agents discovered a yellow bag with a white powder residue, and a plastic bag containing heroin, crack cocaine and methamphetamine. Ivory was arrested, taken into custody, and locked up behind bars. Altoona police then continued the search, which turned up about $406 in cash, more meth, crack cocaine, and heroin… along with marijuana. McCall was charged with drug-related offenses as well. Her preliminary hearing is scheduled for Wednesday.
