Altoona police and the Altoona Area School District are investigating a social media post made late Wednesday evening in which an individual threatened to bring a gun to school, according to a post on the district’s Facebook page. School officials say as a precautionary measure, middle and high school students did not report to school today instead learning virtually. Elementary students reported to school as normal.
