The Altoona Area High School Music Department will host two spring concerts, one this week and another next week. The string, vocal and jazz ensembles will perform at 7p.m. Thursday outdoors on the patio in front of the new AAHS B Building. This will be the school’s first outdoor concert. Audience members should bring their own chairs for seating. At 7 p.m. May 13 in the school’s new auditorium, the music department will host a performance by the orchestra, concert choir, concert band and wind ensemble. This will be the first concert in the new auditorium.
