The Altoona Curve Game of Hope has been rescheduled to today. The Curve and Akron RubberDucks will play a doubleheader beginning at 5 this afternoon to make up for Wednesday night’s rain out. In conjunction with the American Cancer Society, The Game of Hope is designed to honor and celebrate those who have battled cancer and those that have lost their fight. Between games of the doubleheader a Survivor Lap will take place with survivors proceeding around the field at Peoples Natural Gas Field. Fans can purchase luminaries, benefitting the American Cancer Society, presented by United Rentals, to remember those in their lives that have been affected by cancer. The Curve will resume their series with the Akron RubberDucks, Double-A Affiliate of the Cleveland Indians, tonight with a 6:30 p.m. first pitch.
