Well, this is a strange one…. In York, a woman accused of breaking into a home and helping herself to the items inside claimed “God” allowed her to be there. When police arrived, they found 36-year-old Ashley Trgovac inside, wrapped in a blanket, wearing a blue hat, with headphones on. She was also wearing a cloth-type mask and had a child’s pacifier in her mouth. Investigators later learned everything she was wearing was owned by the family who lived there. When police asked her what she was doing in the home, she said that “God” told her she could be there. When police attempted to take Trgovac into custody, she resisted by kicking and biting the officers. She is now charged with burglary, criminal trespass, aggravated assault, resisting arrest, receiving stolen property and theft, and is being held in the Lancaster County Prison on $10,000 bail.
