Some businesses at the Logan Town Center found themselves without power for a time Wednesday during the bad weather. The cause is believed to have been a transformer fire at Valley View Boulevard and 15th Street. Many stores there had to shut down because they had no way to ring up customers. A few of the stores were able to continue to operate because they had generators as backup, but in grocery stores, items such as perishables and frozen foods were not available due to the outage. The power came back on just a few minutes before 5pm, and while many businesses had already shut down for the day, those that didn’t resumed operation as normal.
