An 81-year-old man was flown to UPMC Altoona after being shot on the top of his head in what’s being called a ‘hunting-related shooting’ over the weekend.
State College police and the Pennsylvania Game Commission responded to the shooting in College Township on Saturday. One of the other 2 hunters with him said he accidentally shot him then began administering first aid. He underwent surgery and is currently reported to be in stable condition.
