Altoona police say they’ve arrested and charged two people in connection to an October arson investigation that later led to attempted homicide charges. Police say 26-year-old Daniel Sipes Jr. and 30-year-old Maria Frye set fire to a home along 5th Ave. on Oct. 15. They say the pair was in a relationship and set the fire to kill one of the people inside. Both are now being being held without bail at the Blair County Prison.
