Instead of being put back in jail, suspended Somerset County District Attorney Jeff Thomas was ordered to adult probation earlier today during a bail revocation hearing. Thomas has been ordered to reside at his mother and father’s house in Windber, he can’t have contact with his wife, and he’ll have to wear an ankle bracelet. This all comes after Thomas spent Monday night in the Cambria County Prison on assault charges stemming from accusations he physically assaulted his wife in May of last year, among a host of other charges.
