Johnstown City Officials Meet to Solve Crime Problem

At a press conference held inside Johnstown City Council chambers Wednesday, city council members expressed their concerns about the disregard for human life after several recent homicides in the area. Johnstown councilman Ricky Britt said
“It’s a shame what’s going on out there with people killing people like their flies,There’s no respect for life anymore.” Police officials said Wednesday they’re already working with the Johnstown city council to try and help the police department be more proactive in the community, rather than reactive. Cambria County District Attorney Greg Neguebuaer and Cambria County Coroner Jeff Lees said the work officers do now is exemplary, but there are still issues. Cambria County Crime Stoppers offers a $1,000 reward for information leading to the arrest and conviction of anybody responsible for an unsolved homicide.
