The trial has been delayed for the suspended Somerset County District Attorney accused of sex assault. The trial for Jeff Thomas was scheduled for June but in an order handed down in court Thursday, it has now been pushed back to September.
Thomas’ lawyer requested the delay, so the defense has more time to prepare, as they continue to wait for prosecutors to provide their evidence. Jury selection is now scheduled for September 13th.
