State police in Cambria County have charged a Blair County man after he stabbed another man with a kitchen knife during a domestic dispute in Reade Township Wednesday afternoon. Troopers say Douglas Simington Sr., 62, of East Freedom, faces charges of aggravated assault with a weapon, simple assault, reckless endangerment and harassment, according to online court documents. Troopers say when they arrived on scene, they found the victim with a knife wound to his upper thigh. Simington was arraigned Wednesday night to the Cambria County Prison and has since been released on unsecured $35,000 bail.
