According to a statement from UPMC, a report of a suspected armed individual inside the building led to a lockdown Wednesday afternoon at UPMC Somerset.
Authorities say UPMC security and local law enforcement investigated the report to “ensure that there was no threat to patients, employees or visitors.” Officials say the lockdown has since been lifted.
