9/11 Tribute Garden Vandalized

State police in Somerset County are investigating the theft of approximately $1,000 worth of fencing that had been delivered to the Remember Me Rose Garden in Stoystown. Police say sometime between the evenings of Friday, Sept. 2 and Saturday, Sept. 3, an unknown individual(s) stole wooden, split-rail fencing from the memorial garden. The Remember Me Rose Garden was created as a “living tribute” to the victims of the 9/11 terrorist attacks. Anyone with information about the theft is asked to contact PSP Somerset at 814-445-4104.
