A judge will weigh suppressing search warrants and dismissing at least 11 felony charges against Daniel M. Sipes, after hearing arguments from his attorney Thomas Dickey during a pretrial motions hearing recently. The 27 year old Sipes is facing a number of charges including attempted homicide and aggravated arson after allegedly starting a house fire on the 2000 block of Fifth Avenue in Altoona with people inside in October 2021.
