Eastern Light Cemetery in Altoona is receiving a grant from Pennsylvania Hallowed Grounds and Preservation Pennsylvania. The money is a part of the African American Cemetery Stewardship Program and will be put to use at the cemetary on 10th Street where 200 people are buried but there are only 50 tombstones.
