Starting today, while repairs continue at the Altoona Area Public Library’s facility, limited in-person services will be offered at a temporary site in the Altoona Transportation Center, 1231 11th Avenue. The library is partnering with the City of Altoona and the Altoona Parking Authority to open this auxiliary site open Monday through Friday from 830a-5pm. Community members are invited to call ahead at 814-232-7295 to schedule book browsing appointments.
