Rep. Jim Gregory has closed his Hollidaysburg office to walk-in visitors indefinitely due to acts of vandalism and criminal mischief that have occurred in recent weeks. Gregory released a statement, saying the for the past three days, and for the foreseeable future, his Hollidaysburg office has been closed and will continue to be closed as a result of ongoing threats posed to staff and others. As has been publicly reported, an individual was charged for throwing a crucifix through the front window, shattering the glass, while staff members were present in the office. Gregory said with the current state of events, his thoughts must be first on his responsibility for the safety of staff and constituents. Meanwhile, he also says he is thankful for the Hollidaysburg police’s bravery and support. Constituents can continue to call 814-695-2398 or use the “contact us” tab at RepGregory.com for assistance.
