A drug smuggling plot at the Blair County Prison was stopped short, and now Hollidaysburg police are searching for a woman who they say helped arrange it. Police today are trying to find 31-year-old Mara Mingle. Mingle’s four co-conspirators meanwhile, have been arrested. They include 57 year old Constance Martinez and 46 year old Shellie Forshey of Altoona, along with 35 year old Ryan Bare and 30 year old Jesse Riggleman III of Hollidaysburg. Bare and Riggleman were inmates at the prison at the time back in January, when the plot was hatched to smuggle drugs into the prison. They each are facing 11 felony drug-related charges. Forshey and Martinez were charged with eight drug-related felonies each. Riggleman, Bare and Forshey were unable to post their cash bails and are behind bars today. Martinez posted bond Wednesday.
