PennDOT says a re-paving project will reduce a work area to a single lane along 9.8 miles of Route 1001 (Plank Road) from the Goods Lane Intersection to the Route 764 Intersection in Greenwood in Logan Township and the City of Altoona. Beginning, Wednesday, there will be a single lane closed on Pleasant Valley Blvd. from 13th Street to Hileman Street. Work continues throughout the rest of the project with both daylight and nighttime work operations. Motorists should expect minor delays. All work on this $6.3 million project is expected to be completed by mid-October but all work is of course, weather dependent.
