A teenager has been arrested and is facing charges including attempted murder after being accused of firing three shots at another person last month near the Altoona Area High School. 17 year old Louis Colon of Altoona was arraigned Monday on multiple charges as an adult, including felony attempted murder, two counts of felony aggravated assault, and felony carrying a firearm without a license. Colon was also charged with possession of a firearm by a minor and three counts of recklessly endangering another person all in connection with the shooting that took place on April 7. Police say Colon fired a 9 mm handgun at a man who was standing next to his vehicle with his 2-year-old child inside near the intersection of 10th Street and Fifth Avenue. Colon is now behind bars in the Blair County Prison, where he is being held on $750,000 cash bail.
