ALTOONA STALKER JAILED

An Altoona man who police say illegally entered a home and then went through a woman’s purse is facing charges. Altoona Police arrested 44 year old John Noel on felony charges including burglary and criminal trespassing after they got a call about a domestic disturbance. According to the victim, she had previously been in a relationship with Noel. She told officers that he came in through an unlocked back door, then entered her living room where she was and he sat down across from her and started going through the credit cards in her purse. She says she asked him to leave, but he told her he was going nowhere…. that is until she called the police. According to the victim, this was not the first time something like this has happened, and it has been an ongoing problem. Late last month, Noel was charged with burglary and aggravated assault after the victim reported that he came through an unlocked front door, grabbed her by her hair and threatenied to kill her. She claims that duing that incident, Noel put a knife to her throat and said he wasn’t joking as she pleaded with him not to kill her. Noel won’t be going back there anytime soon now though, after his latest arrest. He is in the Blair County prison where he is being held on $50,000 cash bail.
