According to Somerset County District Attorney Jeff Thomas, a Paint Township couple was convicted Tuesday of felony child endangerment. Eric and Nicole Barkman were arrested in May of last year after authorities found their home in “deplorable condition.” Troopers say five children, ranging from ages 1 to 12, were taken from the home.
