The early morning death of a toddler in Johnstown Friday has been ruled a homicide, according to authorities. The Cambria County Coroner’s Office, District attorney’s Office and Johnstown Police Department held a press conference this morning to provide updates on three homicides within the city in the past four days. Coroner Jeff Lees identified the toddler as 14-month-old Gianna Lewis-Rice. Lees said the girl died from massive blood loss due to blunt force trauma from abuse. Officials say they are aware of who the girl’s caregivers were and have a person or multiple people of interest.
