Due to the inclement weather over the past 2 weeks, the City of Altoona will be extending spring yard waste collection to include next Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday – April 11, 12 & 13th beginning at 7:00 a.m. After spring collection ends, residents are welcome to drop off their brown bagged yard waste at the City Highway Yard – 5010 6th Avenue – Monday through Friday from 7:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
