Johnstown police say a child was injured after being ejected from a vehicle during a crash on Bedford Street Wednesday. Emergency officials say the single crash happened around 7:30 p.m. on the 700 block of Bedford Street in Dale Borough. A 7-year-old boy, was taken to the hospital with unknown injuries. Police say an ambulance happened to be following the vehicle when it crashed, and responders were able to quickly transport the boy. Investigators say the father of the boy was the one driving the vehicle and he has been detained, though police didn’t say whether he is facing charges.
