The American Red Cross confirms they’re helping families impacted by a fire at an apartment complex in Altoona Sunday night. The fire department says the blaze broke out just after 6:30 p.m. at the Logan Hills Apartments, located along the 1200 block of South 27th Street. Fire officials say two individuals had to be “rescued” from the complex and were transported to UPMC Altoona to be evaluated. However, the fire department says no injuries were reported.
