Is your medicine cabinet full of expired drugs or medications you no longer use, you can dispose them through a drug take back program. The Blair County Sheriffs Office, along with Altoona, Freedom Twp, PSU-Altoona, and Veteran Affairs are proud to be participating in this year’s fall National Take Back Initiative (Drug take back program). This year’s event will be held this Saturday, from 10am-2pm. at several sites including, Thomason’s Pharmacy, at 600 E. Chestnut Ave. Altoona. Also, the Blair County Courthouse at 423 Allegheny Street Hollidaysburg. Plus the PSU-Altoona Campus at thePOPLAR BUILDING in Altoona. And the Walmart at 200 Commerce Drive, Duncansville.
