Authorities with the Blair County District Attorney’s office say a Claysburg man is behind bars following a “multi-department” child pornography investigation. Investigators say 30-year-old Ethan Colpetzer, who was employed as a janitor at the Claysburg Elementary School, is accused of having dozens of photos, depicting child pornography, on his phone.
A Mount Union family is left without a home after a damaging fire on Monday afternoon. Crews were called to Maxwell Street around midday. A family pet did not survive, no one else was home. The fire is believed to have started on the back porch of the home. The cause is still being investigated.
A fire tore through a Pennsylvania Department of Conservation and Natural Resources building at S.B. Elliot State Park in Clearfield County Friday night. The cause of the fire is unknown at this time. An investigation is underway by the PSP Fire Marshal.

Mike Zabel of Delaware County and calling on him to resign. This after he and other lawmakers passed expanded workplace protections that were prompted in part by her story.
An Altoona woman is facing felony charges after she was accused of helping rob and assault a man in October 2022. Lethea McFadden, 43, and her girlfriend Alisa Diehl, 41, stole the man’s car after he was lured to a house and attacked by three males.

Six people were arrested after law enforcement swept Altoona searching for individuals with warrants. The Altoona Police Department along with the Blair County Drug Task Force and the PA Office of the Attorney General performed a detail in the city and in Logan Township. Among those arrested was Codie Sinai, 32, of Altoona.
