Planned Outage in Clearfield Borough Wednesday

The Clearfield Borough is planning to cut power to hundreds of residents for several hours to replace equipment. Mayor Mason Strouse announced the planned outage by Penelec will occur on Wednesday and last from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. 568 customers in Clearfield will be affected.

Huge Fire in Downtown Bedford

Crews were called to a massive fire in downtown Bedford Monday night. Flames broke out around 11:30 p.m. at a business on South Juliana Street. The fire then spread to multiple other businesses. One person was taken to the hospital.

Martinsburg Farm Fire

Firefighters were sent to a fire early this morning at a dairy farm in Martinsburg. Crews were sent to Pleasant View Farms in North Woodbury Township at 4 a.m.Firefighters were able to put out the blaze within an hour and no crew members or cows were injured. A state police fire marshall is investigating.

Johnstown Boy Injured in Firecracker Explosion

Johnstown Police confirmed that a young boy is being treated for injuries sustained after a firecracker “exploded” in his hand Wednesday night. Altoona Police Search for Robbery Suspect

The Altoona Police Department is on the lookout for a person responsible for stealing a “substantial amount of money” in the Altoona area.
