An Altoona man, who is facing 50 felony counts of child pornography, claims the images were research for a book he was writing, according to the Office of the Attorney General. 69-year-old Dennis Page is facing 50 felony charges of child porn and one felony charge of criminal use of communications.

State Police in Huntingdon County announced today that authorities have recovered the vehicle belonging to 40-year-old Jedediah Rawlings. Rawlings is wanted for allegedly threatening troopers with knives during a traffic stop earlier this week. Police say Rawlings is still at large. The developers of a new casino in Centre County cleared a major hurdle Wednesday with the state’s gaming control board approving a license for the casino.
