Clearfield Co. Man Sentenced in Murder of Wife

Authorities in Clearfield County say a local man was sentenced Monday for the attempted killing of his wife last year. According to Clearfield County District Attorney Ryan Sayers, Willard Fyock, now age 70, was sentenced by Judge Paul Cherry to serve 7 to 20 years in state prison.

Robbery Suspects on the Run

Police are looking for two men who allegedly robbed a Sunoco Gas Station Friday night. In a press release from Pennsylvania State Police, they said the Sunoco, located on the 10,000 block of Somerset Pike in Lincoln Township was robbed by two men around 8:40 p.m.

Police Catch Suspect after Long Pursuit

Authorities are providing new details about the 14 mile pursuit of a suspect in the Johnstown-area Sunday afternoon that began in the city and ended in a wooded area along Route 271. Police have identified the suspect as 31-year-old Hakiem Freeman, of Huntingdon. Freeman is being held at the Cambria County Prison, on $150,000 bail.
